2016 HALL The North End Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon -
"The value-priced 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon North End comes exclusively from sites north of St. Helena, and it certainly offers tons of bang for the buck! Lots of meaty, bloody blue fruits, black olive, tobacco, and chocolate notes emerge from the glass, and it's medium to full-bodied, has a pure, rounded texture, no hard edges, and a big finish. It competes with wines at three times the price and I suspect will evolve for 15-20 years as well."

"This is a powerful, richly woven wine, substantially earthy and savory in spirit. Elements of cedar, pencil shavings, sage and tobacco characterize an expansive and weighty mouthfeel of explosive tannin and robust oak."
The North End Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet in color with inviting aromas of rosemary, thai basil, cassis, ripe black plum, and Asian spice. The palate is rich and layered, supple tannins lead into a full and decadent expression of chocolate-laced blackberry, cardamom, blackcurrant and toasted coconut. This wine showcases the rich and opulent side of Napa Cabernet.
This wine highlights esteemed vineyards in the “North End” of the Napa Valley, including vines grown in Calistoga, Northern St. Helena, and the mountainous appellations. The “North End” fruit shows a markedly rich and opulent side of Cabernet Sauvignon. Our blending efforts help to punctuate these characteristics in the final bottling.
