"The 2019 Chardonnay Sangiacomo Vineyard showed beautifully, with a rich, nutty, yet still pure and elegant character. Coming from a single vineyard on the Sonoma Coast, it has classic lemon and melon-laced fruits, good minerality, integrated oak, and outstanding length."

Pale straw with a slight green tinge. Effusive aromas of white flowers, toasted hazelnut, lemon zest and flint. The palate is juicy and crisp with flavors of ripe pear, brioche and a hint of lemon curd. The long and generous finish is layered with beautiful, lifted minerality and verve.

  • The Sangiacomo Vineyard is a certified sustainable vineyard, first planted in 1969. The block we source from is entirely "Old Wente" field selection. The proximity to the Pacific Ocean and San Pablo Bay makes this site ideal for growing Chardonnay. Older vines produce small clusters that drive concentration and richness in the wine.
