2021 WALT Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir - Shea Vineyard
Critic Review
"Sleek and refined, with well-knit raspberry and pomegranate flavors that take on accents of orange-tinged tea and dusky spices, building toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2031."
91 Points | Wine Enthusiast, Matt Kettmann
"A warm strawberry scone aroma is wrapped up in swirling notes of green tea and vanilla. Flavors are a bit tangier, with lemon, lime and raspberry all making appearances alongside filberts and marzipan. The beautifully balanced wine's crisp mouthfeel is matched by elevated acidity."

Shea Vineyard
Well draining volcanic and seabed soils.
Light ruby in color, the wine opens with a perfume of cranberry, raspberry and strawberry aromas. Delicate hints of rose petal and Jordan almond interweave with the fruit. The body is on the delicate end of the spectrum, with layers of bright berries and minerality. The taut structure on the finish punctuates this inviting and complex wine.

We are very fortunate to be able to source fruit from Dick and Deirdre Shea - pioneers of grape growing in Willamette Valley, Oregon. Shea Vineyard's sedimentary soils and unique aspect produce wines of excellent concentration and depth in one of the Pacific Coast's most premier, and extreme, growing regions.
