Join vintners Kathryn and Craig Hall with the HALL Family Wines team for fabulous wine and unforgettable memories in beautiful Maui. This one-of-a-kind trip is open to wine club members only.

Highlights from our 2022 Maui Retreat:

Night #1

• Welcomed at Craig and Kathryn’s beautiful and artful home in Maui, right off a semi-private beach.
• Enjoyed Kathryn’s famous Mai-tais, sunset on the beach, and heavy pupus (Hawaiian for appetizers) .
• Tasted verticals of Clos Pepe Pinot Noir and Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon, served from magnums.

Day #2

• Private snorkel cruise on our chartered catamaran to take this special trip to Molokini Island. From seeing Molokini's pristine reef, fish, and spotting the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle, we enjoyed a gourmet lunch and a full-service bar to end the cruise.
• The evening consisted of an in-depth wine tasting which included topics of how location affects wine, winemaking philosophy, in addition to tasting our wines from different vineyard locations.
• We ended the day with a private luau, traditional cuisine, tasted amazing library wines and enjoyed authentic local entertainment.

Day #3

• President Mike Reynolds led guests through a tasting of some of the most prized and limited production library wines from the Sacrashe and Rainin Vineyards.
• The tasting was followed by lunch prepared by the famed Andaz Maui Hotel, where we paired gourmet dishes with some of our finest wines, including a sneak-peak at our newest Platinum offering, the Beller Vineyard.  
• Farewell All-White Dinner & Party!

Did we mention the 18-holes of golf at the private championship Makena golf course? As this was an optional activity, many of our members enjoyed golfing with views of 4 Hawaiian Islands, and five-star amenities.

HALL Maui Retreat 2022 

Tuesday November 15th^th, 2022

Mid-day: Participants Arrive in Wailea/Makena, Maui, Hawaii

4:30 pm: Shuttle from Andaz Hotel to Craig and Kathryn’s home.

5:00- 7pm: Welcome Reception

• Hosts Craig and Kathryn Hall and Mike Reynolds will welcome you to the Maui Retreat. We’ll taste some of our finest wines and enjoy Kathryn’s famous Mai Tais.
• Heavy pupus (Hawaiian for appetizers) will be served.

7:30 – 8:30 pm:   Shuttles to Andaz Hotel.                  

Wednesday, November 16^th, 2022

8:45 – 9:15am:  Shuttle from Andaz Hotel to Kai Kanani Charter.

9:45am–1:15pm: Kai Kanani Charter and Lunch

• Enjoy a private snorkel cruise to Molokini Island. There you will see Molokini's pristine reef and incredible diversity of fish, snorkeling at Maui’s most popular site for swimming with the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle.
• The catamaran will boast gourmet lunch and a full-service bar as well and our wines.

Optional Morning Activities: Golf

• Members may sign-up to play Golf at the Makena golf course (Additional Fee). Golf sign-ups         will take place after registration, and space may be limited.   
• In addition, other activities are available through the Andaz.

Early Afternoon: Free                

5:00 pm: Educational Wine Tasting |Andaz Hotel

6:30 pm: Private Luau | Andaz Hotel

• Join us for premier wines, Hawaiian dancing, and authentic local entertainment.

Thursday, November 17^th, 2022

Early Morning: (Optional Time TBD)              

• Members may sign-up to play Golf at the Makena golf course (Additional Fee and includes lunch). Golf signups will take place after registration, and space may be limited.  
• In addition, other activities are available through the Andaz.

11am: Educational Wine Tasting |Andaz Hotel

Noon: Lunch paired with HALL, WALT, and BACA wines |Andaz Hotel

Early Afternoon: Free

5pm: Shuttle from Andaz to Dinner

6pm: Farewell Dinner | Makena Golf Club

• Join us for a magical evening under the stars at Makena Golf Clubs 16^th fairway, overlooking the Makena’s black sand beach. Enjoy an elegant dinner with library wines, live music and dancing.
• Attire - All-white clothing.
