Grilled Ribeye with Cabernet Herb Butter 

Ingredients 

For the Steaks 

  • 2 ribeye steaks (12–16 oz each) 

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil 

  • Kosher salt 

  • Freshly cracked black pepper 

For the Cabernet Herb Butter 

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened 

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped rosemary 

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley 

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic 

  • 2 tablespoons Cabernet Sauvignon 

  • Pinch of sea salt 

Instructions 

Step 1: Prepare the Herb Butter 

In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, rosemary, parsley, garlic, Cabernet Sauvignon, and sea salt. Mix until smooth and refrigerate while preparing the steaks. 

Step 2: Season the Ribeyes 

Remove steaks from the refrigerator 30 minutes before grilling. Pat dry and rub with olive oil. Generously season both sides with kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper. 

Step 3: Fire Up the Grill 

Preheat your grill to high heat (450–500°F). Grill the ribeyes for approximately 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on thickness and preferred doneness. 

Step 4: Rest and Finish 

Transfer steaks to a cutting board and allow them to rest for 5–10 minutes. Top each ribeye with a generous spoonful of Cabernet herb butter just before serving.
