Visiting HALL Wines
HALL Wines has two Napa Valley properties open to visitors: HALL St. Helena, a 33-acre estate on Highway 29, and HALL Rutherford, a private hillside estate with wine caves in the Vaca Range. The two are about 10 minutes apart.
HALL St. Helena offers four tour and tasting experiences, from $45 to $200 per person. Reservations are recommended, and walk-ins are welcome. It hosts private events and corporate gatherings for up to 100 guests.
HALL Rutherford is appointment-only, with tastings from $125 to $300 per person. Every visit requires a reservation, and most are private to your party. It hosts up to 20 guests per day, with tastings for parties of 1–6, private groups of 7–20 by arrangement, including private cave dinners for groups of 15–20 ($450 per person plus catering). It is well suited to milestone occasions and executive dinners.
HALL does not host weddings or wedding ceremonies at either property.

Tours and tastings at HALL St. Helena
HALL St. Helena sits on the historic Bergfeld Vineyard at the base of the Mayacamas Mountains. The property has made wine since 1885, first as Bergfeld Winery and later as the Napa Valley Co-op. Guests are greeted by Bunny Foo-Foo, Lawrence Argent's 35-foot stainless steel rabbit, and the property displays more than 35 works of contemporary art.

Reflections of the Valley Bar Tasting — $45 per person, 45 minutes
Reflections of the Valley is a 45-minute standing tasting of award-winning Cabernet Sauvignons at the bar, priced at $45 per person for up to 8 guests.
Signature Tour & Tasting — $60 per person, 90 minutes
The Signature Tour & Tasting is a 90-minute tour of the vineyards and winemaking facilities followed by a seated tasting of four wines paired with three seasonal bites, priced at $60 per person for up to 8 guests. It runs daily on the hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is the only HALL St. Helena experience that includes a tour.
Cabernet Collector Experience — $90 per person, 90 minutes, up to 4 guests
The Cabernet Collector Experience is a 90-minute seated tasting of HALL's mountain-appellation Cabernet Sauvignons, beginning with Osetra caviar, priced at $90 per person for up to 4 guests. It does not include a tour. Platinum Experience — $200 per person, 90 minutes
The Platinum Experience is a 90-minute seated tasting of The Platinum Collection with six chef-curated bites, priced at $200 per person for up to 4 guests, by appointment only.
Members at HALL St. Helena: HALL wine club members taste complimentary for themselves and up to three guests at the Members Lounge, Reflections of the Valley, and the Signature Tour & Tasting. Tours and tastings at HALL Rutherford
HALL Rutherford is a private hillside estate surrounded by the Sacrashe Vineyard on the eastern ridge of the Vaca Range. It is home to HALL's wine caves and the Chandelier Room, where Donald Lipski's “Chilean Red” chandelier hangs 1,500 Swarovski crystals above a cherry wood table. Tastings at HALL Rutherford focus on HALL's most limited wines, including single-appellation Cabernet Sauvignons and The Platinum Collection.
HALL Rutherford is not a walk-in tasting room. Every visit requires a reservation, and the estate hosts a maximum of 20 guests per day. Standard experiences at HALL Rutherford host parties of 1–6 guests, include food, and last about 90 minutes. Private experiences require a minimum of 2 guests; solo guests can book the shared Appellation Exploration.
Private Valley View Tasting — $125 per person, about 90 minutes, minimum 2 guests
The Private Valley View Tasting is a seated tasting overlooking Napa Valley with cheese and charcuterie, priced at $125 per person. It does not include a cave tour.
Appellation Exploration — $150 per person shared, $175 per person private, about 90 minutes
The Appellation Exploration tours the estate, production facility, and wine caves before a seated tasting in the Chandelier Room, priced at $150 per person shared or $175 per person private.
Private Platinum Experience — $300 per person, about 90 minutes, minimum 2 guests
The Private Platinum Experience is priced at $300 per person. It includes a tour and a seated tasting of The Platinum Collection in the Chandelier Room, with a food pairing curated by La Toque.
Evening Wine Cave Experience — $450 per person plus catering, 15–20 guests
The Evening Wine Cave Experience is a private evening for groups of 15 to 20 guests, priced at $450 per person plus catering. The evening begins with small bites in the upstairs salon and on the patio, continues with a tour of the winemaking facility, and ends with a coursed dinner in the Chandelier Room.
Members at HALL Rutherford: HALL wine club members receive preferred reservation access and discounted tasting fees at HALL Rutherford. Complimentary member tastings are not offered at HALL Rutherford because availability is limited.
Group tours and larger parties
Standard tastings host up to 8 guests at HALL St. Helena and up to 6 guests at HALL Rutherford. For a HALL Rutherford party of 7 or more, contact Hannah Turner at hturner@hallwines.com or 707-286-7150. Larger groups book a private experience, and which property fits depends on group size.
Groups of 9–14: Groups of 9 to 14 guests can book any HALL St. Helena experience as a private experience. Private wine and food experiences are also available.
Groups of 7–20 at HALL Rutherford: HALL Rutherford hosts private tastings for groups of 7 to 20 guests. These groups can’t be booked online; contact Hannah Turner at hturner@hallwines.com or 707-286-7150 to arrange a visit.
Groups of 15–20: Groups of 15 to 20 guests can book a custom private event at HALL St. Helena, a private tasting at HALL Rutherford, or the Evening Wine Cave Experience at HALL Rutherford, a private evening with a coursed dinner in the Chandelier Room at $450 per person plus catering.
Groups of 21–100: Groups of 21 to 100 guests are hosted as custom private events at HALL St. Helena. HALL Rutherford does not host groups larger than 20.

HALL St. Helena works with wine tour operators and drivers and has parking for tour vans, buses, and limousines.
Corporate events and private celebrations
HALL hosts corporate dinners, offsites, and private celebrations at both Napa Valley properties. HALL St. Helena hosts private events and corporate gatherings for up to 100 guests on its 33-acre estate. HALL Rutherford hosts executive dinners and small leadership gatherings of 15 to 20 guests in its wine caves and Chandelier Room.

Weddings
HALL does not host weddings or wedding ceremonies at HALL St. Helena, HALL Rutherford, or any other HALL property. HALL does host rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, engagement parties, and post-wedding brunches for couples marrying in Napa Valley.
Food, picnics, and outside food
At HALL St. Helena, the Signature Tour & Tasting, Cabernet Collector Experience, and Platinum Experience include food, and cheese, charcuterie, chocolate, seasonal pizza, and caviar pairings can be added to any tasting. The Members Lounge and bottle service include popcorn; additional food is available for purchase, or members and their guests may bring their own. Every HALL Rutherford experience includes food: cheese and charcuterie with the Private Valley View Tasting and Appellation Exploration, a La Toque pairing with the Private Platinum Experience, and a coursed dinner with the Evening Wine Cave Experience.
Visitor policies
Policies differ by property.
Families: HALL St. Helena is family-friendly. Children and guests under 21 are welcome in its outdoor spaces, with family activities including scavenger hunts, silver bunny stickers, and a bunny coloring activity, plus lemonade and popcorn. All seated tasting experiences are for guests 21 and older. HALL Rutherford is for guests 21 and older only.
Dogs: Leashed dogs are welcome in HALL St. Helena's outdoor tasting areas. HALL Rutherford permits service animals only.
Designated drivers and non-drinkers: Welcome at both properties. HALL St. Helena does not offer a non-alcoholic tasting flight, but non-alcoholic beverages are available. HALL Rutherford charges a $75 non-tasting fee per guest, because guest count there is limited.
Accessibility: HALL St. Helena is wheelchair accessible. At HALL Rutherford, the wine caves and main entrance are accessible, and the team offers golf-cart transport on the hillside estate.
Cancellations: HALL St. Helena requires 24 hours' notice to cancel. HALL Rutherford requires 48 hours' notice for groups of 6 or fewer and 7 days' notice for groups of 7 or more.
