What a fun way to kick off BACA harvest! To craft our contemporary take on Rosé we started with Zinfandel from the historic Lodi AVA. Walking the vineyard always reminds me of Wayne Thiebaud and paintings of the Sacramento River Delta. Small-batch fermentations took place in neutral oak barrels until dry, resulting in a bright, energized style. Now get ready for cans - an unabashedly hipster move and the revival of a retro wine!
