"Aromas of red fruit are cut by earthy herbs and scorched soil on the nose of this bottling from a historic vineyard. The palate is very enjoyable, offering boysenberry pudding, caramel, clove cream and light pepper flavors."

"This 2022 Zinfandel comes from the Dusi Ranch which is a head-trained vineyard set in Paso Robles. These vines were planted in 1945. The palate is soft and refined with silky tannins and a smooth texture. Layers of sweet fig and dates combine with salted wet stone and baking spices on the palate. Showing good underlying freshness, this is already nicely evolved stuff."

"This Zin shows torque and concentration, offering brooding blackberry and cherry flavors that take on licorice, tar and Asian spice accents as this finishes with potent tannins."

Paso Robles AVA – Dusi Vineyard
Here, the sun drenches the vineyard and its rolling hills of rocky, alluvial soil. But then the sun sets and the cool comes in. It’s this extreme temperature swing that causes the fruit to keep its vibrant acidity while developing an intense berry profile, particularly bold spice notes of black pepper and licorice.
